Detox at New Life

Patients who are abusing alcohol, opioid and sedatives may require detoxification. We offer medical detox to help patients detox safely and with greater comfort to help ease the uncomfortable side effects. Outpatient detoxification allows you a comfortable transition into recovery. Alcohol, opioids and sedatives each have their own outpatient detoxification protocols, because the withdrawal symptoms vary from minor to extreme pain. Either way, detox is not recommended to do on your own.

Get Expert Detox Help

Managed by experienced addiction medicine specialist physicians, the outpatient detoxification process at New Life is a healthy first step to recovery for those who need extra care. You will be monitored so that the entire experience feels safe, controlled and comfortable, enough so that you can go back to your daily routine. Depending on what kind of drug you are detoxing from, it could take between a few days to several weeks to full detoxify the body. Once outpatient detoxification is underway, you may attend the intensive outpatient treatment sessions.
